I've been having acupuncture treatments at Wildwood Acupuncture Center for various problems like back pain, neck and shoulder pain and stiffness, headache and digestive issues for three years now. I've seen most providers, Dr. Xiaoming Tian, Dr. Xia Chen, Dr. Ling Liu and Dr. Grace Wang, and have always had nothing but the best experiences. The treatments can be one-time or multiple in a row. I always feel so much better afterwards. The front-desk staffs are very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Wildwood Acupuncture Center for anyone who is willing to try alternative, non-invasive medicine for their health problem(s).

I recently went to Wildwood Acupuncture Center for knee swelling and pain, and I was honestly nervous about trying acupuncture. Grace was incredibly professional and gentle—she explained every step and made sure I felt comfortable. The acupuncture treatments were virtually painless, and after a few sessions, my knee felt significantly less swollen and much more comfortable. Grace helped me overcome my fear of needles, and I felt fully supported throughout the process. I highly recommend her and Wildwood Acupuncture Center for anyone experiencing knee pain or swelling, especially if you’re hesitant about trying acupuncture.

I developed a tennis elbow last July, and the pain was pretty intense—aching and sharp whenever I moved my arm, making daily activities and even simple exercises really difficult. Grace was amazing—she carefully assessed how severe my condition was and explained what to expect and how long it might take to see results. She put together a personalized treatment plan for me with acupuncture and electro-acupuncture, three times a week. After just two sessions, I noticed a big drop in pain and a much better range of motion in my elbow. Throughout the whole process, she made me feel completely supported and cared for. I would highly recommend Grace and Wildwood Acupuncture Center to anyone in Bethesda looking for professional, effective acupuncture care.

I came in for multiple issues including foot pain, eye blurriness, PMS, headaches, and high blood pressure, and had a great experience. Dr. Tian is amazing! He is knowledgeable, attentive, and truly cares about his patients. His team is also wonderful and very professional. The clinic is welcoming, and they accept insurance, which is a big plus. Highly recommend!

My orthopedic surgeon recommended that I see Xiaoming Tian before undergoing a surgical procedure to correct a pinched sciatica nerve in my left leg that left me unable to walk well. After six sessions, Dr. Tian corrected the problem, and I was able to avoid surgery. I can walk pain free seven months and counting after the treatments. I have pinched nerves in other locations since my treatments and Dr. Tian has been able to relieve the symptoms. Xiaoming Tian is a caring person and is highly competent.

My husband’s mouth became slanted, our family doctor excluded stroking, said it’s facioplegia, prescribed one week medicine and recommended him to take acupuncture. We find here, he took seven times and felt much better!
My dancing daughter’s feet hurt. We went here first then went to her pediatric doctor. Pediatrician said she’s plantar fasciitis. That reminded me she got this before. I’m not sure it’s due to new training or not cured completely before. Dr. Tian also find the sign my daughter’s back hurts, that one she graduated from physical therapy, I’m not sure if it’s due to new training or not cured completely before either. But I‘ll try continuing with acupuncture here.(My daughter scared of needles pretty much, so hers are not needle ones, she’s taking a magnetism type.)
I think the only possible complain here for me is that acupuncture with Dr. Tian is much too expensive. But there’s doctor in insurance net available there.

Wildwood Acupuncture Center is exceptional! The staff is friendly, making appointments is easy, and waiting time is minimal. Dr. Ming is superb! Since December, I had been experiencing chronic hip and back pain that limited my activity. Even after walking just a mile, I would feel a dull pain. However, after three acupuncture sessions with Dr. Ming every other day, I started doing daily walking exercises. In just two weeks, my hip pain has significantly diminished. I would highly recommend this place!

Xiaoming Tian is a competent, caring and effective acupuncturist, and that is coming form a physician who has done acupuncture since 1981. He has relieved my pain in a number of situations after I had the usual pain interventions, like epidurals, radio-frequency nerve ablations, dry needling and soft tissue injections. Highly recommended for unresponsive pain.
